Blue Eyed Hermit Crabs (Calcinus laevimanus) grow to inhabit 1.5" shells and will consume hair algae and uneaten fish food. All hermits are capable of killing snails for shells, and this is something to be mindful of. This imported species comes from Hawaii and Africa.
